Most of the preserved mosque lamps from the Mamluk period show inscriptions of donors; this glass lamp is decorated with ornament in enamel colors only. The traditional lotus pattern is framed with white outlined medallions. A counterpart is kept in the Museum of Islamic Art (Doha).
