This mosque lamp consists of two parts with original production dates that are separated by a hundred years. The top – later – part bears the following inscription: "Glory to our Lord, the Sultan, the victorious king, Nasir al-dunya wa-l-din, the father of virtues, Muhammad bin as-Sultan al-Malik al-Mansur, may his victory be mighty." Al-Nasir Muhammad ruled with interruptions from AD 1293 to 1341. The lower part with enthroned princes and musicians is from the first half of the thirteenth century.
