Earthenware with lustre colours
Diameter 21.7 cm

The bowl is painted in polychrome lustre colours achieved by using silver, copper and sulphuric oxides. It is decorated with laurel leaves on the rim and a geometric pattern with dots. The design reflects the connection of early lustre pottery with glass as motifs reflect those on late antique glasswork.
