Geometric Decoration in Ceramic Recipients

Geometric compositions were sometimes combined with plant motifs. Such motifs, although subordinated to the general composition, helped to enrich the geometric decoration, to emphasise key points of the design, or simply to fill the background or spaces left by the geometric pattern.
