Description:

An offset pattern of lancet ovals is structured against a red background. The ovals end in a stylised lily forming the transition to the next oval. The interior pattern of the lancet ovals consists of a scale-like network. The seams disturb the repeat pattern, revealing that the textile was reworked so that it could be shaped as part of this Mass vestment for the Orthodox liturgy.
