Description:

Bronze ewer, the entire surface covered by a large 'tree' issuing scrolling vines bearing blossoms, foliage and fruit. The handle's 'thumbrest' in the form of a pomegranate, its base terminated by a stylized antelope head. The body and handle were seperatly cast, chased and engraved.
